Account Executive - Building Technology

We are recruiting for Building Technologies Division, of a World Leading Global company who, is seeking a driven, dedicated Account Executive who is prepared to leverage their own knowledge and industry experience to generate business opportunities in the Building Technology Market. 
Responsibilities:
  • Strategically pursue opportunities pertaining to Building Automation, Lighting and Mechanical systems in the construction marketplace
  • Align the company’s building technologies with General, Mechanical and Electrical contractors in pursuit of projects within core vertical markets  
  • Attend external customer facing meetings in order to gain an understanding of key customer buying influence
  • Deliver technical presentations to developers, consultants, engineers and contractors
  • Attend and participates in industry events including ASHRAE
  • Maintains current product, market, competitive knowledge relating to the building systems industry
  • Develop strategic and tactical account plans to ensure achievement of assigned business goals
  • Develops business opportunities, sales channels, and potential customers
 
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years selling Building Systems in the construction marketplace in the GTAA
  • Bachelor's degree/College Diploma in engineering, business or other related fields or an equivalent combination of education and related practical experience
  • Professional engineering designation is an asset
  • LEED Certification an asset
  • Aptitude to learn and use company estimating tools
  • Excellent negotiation, verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong time management skills and inner motivation are keys to this position
  • Proven sales experience in meeting assigned targets and obtaining world-class customer satisfaction
