We are recruiting for Canada’s leading owner, developer and manager of well located, high quality urban retail-centered properties who is looking for an SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST, SERVICE DELIVERY

Summary:
As a Senior Business Analyst, you are responsible primarily for the business analysis and application support activities related to the implementation, enhancement, and on-going support of the company's financial business applications. In this position, you will work with IT, business project team members, and external vendors to design, build, and implement applications and integrated solutions that add real value to the business. You will handle all aspects of IT delivery including planning, elicitation, analysis, documentation, management and support, with the goal of maximizing the value and minimizing the issues delivered by our financial business applications.
 
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Provide system analysis and support for the company's financial business applications
  • Provide consulting services to business partners on initiatives related to the above
  • Lead detailed requirements gathering activities, identifying, tracking, escalating and/or resolving business systems issues.
  • Recommend solutions that satisfy sponsor/stakeholder needs by continually exploring and assessing options.
  • Work with the developers, various IT support teams, vendors and business users to address incidents/issues, and implement enhancements.
  • Resolve conflicts/issues of medium complexity and escalate to others as appropriate.
Requirements, Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working as a Business System Analyst/Application Specialist with progressively increasing responsibilities in the areas of requirements management on complex projects.
  • Advanced knowledge and proven experience in requirements planning and prioritization including stakeholder analysis and effort estimation
  • IT Standards, Methodologies & Audit requirements (End to End (E2E), Use Cases, Business Process Mapping/Modeling)
  • Proven implementation and technical support expertise in Oracle JD Edwards 9.2
  • Proven implementation and technical support expertise in a financial consolidation and reporting tool
  • Knowledge of accounting principles
  • Excellent facilitation, presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to learn quickly about new systems and their functionalities
  • Good working knowledge of SQL, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project
Nice-to-have
  • Knowledge of and experience in the Commercial Real Estate industry
  • Experience with designing, implementing and supporting system data integrations
  • Experience with Hubble (formerly Insight Software)
  • Experience with Realogic Budget software
  • Relevant college, university, or post-graduate degree in Business Analysis
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Project Management Institute – Professional in Business Analysis (PMI – PBA) Certification (Preferred)
